Many Shorthorn breeders consider Canadian Image to be the savior of the Shorthorn breed as he brought the breed out of the belt buckle/baby beef era of the 1950’s and 1960’s. Impact is the product of IVF. His grandmother is the famous Whisper Beatrice cow (sired by Boa Kae Royal Oak) that now lives in Canada and has been promoted worldwide as the prototypical Heritage Shorthorn beef cow. Impact has the pedigree, smooth muscling, and built-in maternal characteristics to make the “building blocks” for any Heritage Shorthorn beef herd. He is polled. This bull has been sold and will be leaving for Canada this fall (2026). The semen listed for sale is the only semen from him that will ever be available to the public in the USA.
